The Parish of Żabbar is preparing to host the Diocesan Penitential Pilgrimage for Ħadd in-Nies, which will take place on Sunday 22 February at 4.45pm. As a diocesan pilgrimage, the event carries significance beyond the local community, holding national importance within the Church in Malta.
Given its diocesan status, the pilgrimage will be led by the Metropolitan Archbishop, His Grace Charles J. Scicluna, Archbishop of Malta. The faithful from across the islands are invited to gather for this important moment of prayer and reflection under his guidance.
The pilgrimage will conclude with a Holy Mass celebrated by the Archbishop himself at 6pm. The event forms part of the Church’s liturgical calendar and provides an opportunity for collective penance and spiritual renewal.
