Last Sunday it was officially announced that the Titular painting of Our Lady of Graces in Żabbar will be solemnly adorned with a Golden Rose on September 6th at 10:00 AM. This precious offering, crafted entirely of gold, will be a devoted gift from the people of Żabbar, whose personal contributions will make this tribute possible.
The ceremony, will be presided over by His Grace Archbishop Charles J. Scicluna, will mark a historic continuation of the Sanctuary’s legacy of veneration. This new adornment will join the canonical crown bestowed in 1951 and the twelve stars added twenty-five years ago.
By commissioning this Golden Rose, the parishioners of Żabbar manifest an enduring faith and a profound gratitude toward their Patroness. All are invited to witness this momentous occasion—a testament to a community united in devotion and a heritage cast in gold.
